According to IDC data, in the second quarter of 2021, in the Asia-Pacific region, NetApp’s AFA and open network business units achieved year-on-year growth of 19.5% and 15.1%, respectively, surpassing the growth of the overall market. This is driven by the strong performance of Taiwan, India, and Hong Kong.
According to IDC data, in Taiwan, NetApp’s AFA business achieved year-on-year growth of 158.7% in the second quarter of 2021, surpassing the market growth of 31.9%. This performance makes NetApp the leader in the local AFA segment in the second quarter of 2021, with a market share of 45.6% based on vendor revenue. According to IDC data, in the open network field, NetApp achieved a local year-on-year growth of 102.4% in the second quarter of 2021, surpassing the market growth of 25.5%. This performance makes NetApp the leader in the local open network segment in the second quarter of 2021, with a market share of 38.4% based on vendor revenue.
According to IDC data, in India, NetApp’s AFA business achieved a local year-on-year growth of 35.6% in the second quarter of 2021, surpassing the market growth of 13.8%. This performance allowed NetApp to rise from third to first in the local AFA segment in the second quarter of 2021, with a market share of 30.1% based on vendor revenue.
According to IDC data, in Hong Kong, NetApp’s AFA business achieved a 43.4% local year-on-year growth in the second quarter of 2021, surpassing the 4.3% market growth. This performance allowed NetApp to rise from second to first place in the local AFA segment in the second quarter of 2021, with a market share of 22% based on vendor revenue.
